April 28th,
2008 - The National Meeting is Coming Up!
The annual National Meeting is coming soon,
and will be held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina again this
year. You should call the
Holiday Sands South hotel as soon as possible to reserve
your room. Be sure to tell them that you are a Teamster
Horsemen to receive a 10% discount negotiated by Tony
DiDonato. The National meeting will start on May 10th and
run through May 16th. That national meeting will be be held
on Thursday, May 15th @ 2:00 PM. More information on this to

April 22nd, 2008 - Ugly Run Takeoff Video on YouTube
The video of the takeoff from the Ugly Run is
posted on YouTube for your viewing pleasure. Follow the link
on the left below to view the video. There are many pictures
from the event are coming later this week so stay tuned!
April 6th, 2008 - April Schedule of Events Posted The
April schedule of vents, and the flyer for this year's
Ugly
Run have been posted on our events
page. If you missed last years event, check out the
pictures of it here!
The monthly meeting on April 13th is a **mandatory** meeting
for all members. We'll cover business as usual, and also o
discuss the setup of the Ugly Run which is on April 20th.
Other activities in April
include: THMA Charity Texas Hold'em Tournament on April
12th, and April 26th.
March
11th, 2008 - Site Updates & News
The
officers page has also been updated, and contains a
picture, along with names of each of our International
officers.
Also remember that Friday,
March 14th is the retirement party for Sam Parma, and we
will also be celebrating St. Patrick's Day at the club house
starting at 7:00 PM ($10.00 at the door). We hope to see you
there!
March 9th, 2008 - Bill Gibson Retirement Party Pictures Pictures from the Dennis Gibson
retirement party have been posted in the
photos section.
Dennis has been a trustee for THMA for many years, and we
all wish him well in his retirement. He will be missed
around here as he starts the next chapter of his life down
in sunny Florida!

March
1st, 2008 - Chapter 53 Meets Jesse Jackson
John, and other THMA members from Chapter 53 ran
in to Jesse Jackson while catching a flight out of O'Hare
airport in Chicago. They were in town celebrating the
Teamster Horsemen 9th Anniversary. You can check this and
other photo's out in our
photo section.
We've also been getting pictures from THMA members, and
these photo's are in the process of being organized for
posting on the web site. If you have pictures from our runs
or other events, please email them to

- March Schedule of Events
Is anyone else sick of the snow yet? The March
Schedule of events has been posted on the
events page, and is also in the
mail. March is another busy month with the following
highlights:
March
opens up with a Charity Texas Hold'em Tournament on the
1st. Open doors at 5:00 PM.
Teamster Horsemen
International Trustee Dennis Gibson is retiring.
The party is at the club house on March 8th. Everyone is
encouraged to attend the retirement party of our
brother! After the retirement party, the
American
Knights are hosting a St. Patrick's Day Party that
we are planning to attend.
Sunday March 9th, at 2:00 PM
is our monthly THMA meeting.
Friday, March 14th is the
retirement party for Sam Parma, and we will also be
celebrating St. Patrick's Day at the club house starting
at 7:00 PM.
Don't forget about Pasta
Night on March 7th, 21st, and 28th.
March comes to a close with
a Charity Texas Hold'em event with doors opening at 5:00
PM.

- More Pictures We continue to work on a
new photos
section of the web site. Most of the older pictures are now
in the new system. Some of the other album's posted are from
the 2007y Ugly Run, and International Vice-President Bill
Lloyd's Retirement Party. There are a few more albums to put
up, and we should have those taken care of this week.
February 25th, 2008
- New Pictures Section Started
We're working on a
new photos
section of the web site. While the older pictures are no
longer being displayed, we'll be posting them again soon.
You can however check out the
photos section which contains pictures from the 2008 9th
Year Anniversary party that was held on 2/16/08. A good time
was had by all.

- 9th Year Anniversary Party Next Weekend
Teamster Horsemen are celebrating their 9th
anniversary at 7:00 PM Central Time on February 23rd. All
members are encouraged to attend. If you can not make it,
call Tony DiDinato, or Bill Lloyd. Check out other upcoming
events on our events page.

- Remaining Events This Month
Here is the
Chicago Chapter 25 event lineup for the rest of this month:
Tonight
Chicago Chapter 25 is hosting a charity Texas Hold'em
Tournament. Doors are open at 5:00 PM, with the
games starting at 6:30 PM.
There will be NO PASTA night
on 2/22 while we prepare for the anniversary party.
February 23rd is our 9th
anniversary party which starts at 7:00 PM. All members
are encouraged to attend.
We close out February with
Pasta Night on Friday, February 29th.

- American Lawmen Motorcycle Club Web Site Launched Dave Kroll, Web Administrator for our friends at
American
Lawmen Motorcycle club sends word that their web site is
now online. ALMC is a motorcycle club for Chicago area
lawmen. Be sure to check them out!

- February Schedule of Events
Tonight Tony passed along the February Schedule
of Events. Members should be receiving this in the
mail soon. The Events Page has
been updated with the
February
2008 Schedule of Events. We'll be kicking things off off
with Pasta Night on February 1st, following up with a
Charity Texas Hold'em event on February 2nd, and to wrap up
the weekend we'll host a Super Bowl party on February 3rd.
There is quite a bit more going on in February so be sure
and check it out.

The Events Page has

January 2008 Schedule of Events. Our sole remaining
event for this month is Pasta Night on Friday, January 25th
(starting at 5 PM). The cost is only $2.00 per person, and
the pasta is good so we hope to see you there! See the

addition to the new design, all sections have been updated,

club & charity activities. The most recent news will

- Event Photographs Wanted
If you've got pictures of any Teamster Horsemen
events or runs, please bring them on a CD to the next
meeting. You may also give the CD to any officer of the
club, or if you have just a few pictures email them to
webmaster@teamsterhorsemen.org with a description of the
event. The best pictures will be chosen and posted to this
web site.
